A new era for an historic club
All Are Welcome
A Community Football Club For Everyone
Founded in 1963, Thundersley Rovers is a proud community football club providing opportunities for boys, girls and adults of all ages and abilities to enjoy football in a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment.
As an England Football 2 Star Accredited Club, we are recognised by The FA for our commitment to high standards in coaching, safeguarding, club governance and player development. This accreditation is reviewed annually to ensure we continue to provide the best possible experience for our members.
We offer a wide range of football opportunities including youth team football, girls' football, adult football, FA Wildcats sessions for girls aged 5-11, FA Just Play sessions for adults, and from July 2026 we will be launching our new Soccerbility programme to provide football opportunities for players with disabilities and additional needs.
Our experienced committee, qualified coaches and dedicated volunteers work hard to create an environment where players can develop confidence, make friends, learn life skills and most importantly enjoy their football.
All committee members, coaches and welfare officers are DBS checked and complete FA safeguarding and emergency first aid training, ensuring that player welfare remains at the heart of everything we do.
Whether you are taking your first steps into football, returning to the game or looking for a new club to call home, there is a place for you at Thundersley Rovers.
Current Teams
With more teams joining us for the 2026-27 season we have increased to a total of 31 teams including 5 girls teams which is the highest we have ever had.
